Thats a bit narrow-minded, its called Appropriation, taking something and making it your own. And Bollywood itself is intrinsically about ripping off others, hence the term masala, its a mix, we know Bollywood has ripped off many western films as well as Tamil and other films in the south.Film itself is a technology from the west. Look up post-modernism in wikipedia. I think appropriation and remix culture is great! Originality comes from HOW you adapt the source.
