Joe: So, do you guys have dates?
Lena: *blushes and looks away* Uh...no...
Demi: *looks at him likes he's crazy* ME?! Pfft, NO!
Nick: 2 questions:
Demi: Yeah?
Nick: 1: Why not? You guys are both beautiful with awesome personalities. And 2: Why did you say it like that, Demi? You made it sound like no one would ask you.
Lena: For the first question: No one asked us. We don't know why. We're old-fashioned. The guy has to make the first move. And besides all the people we could've asked had dates within 2 days.
Joe: And the second question: *He looks Demi in the eyes*
Demi: Like Nick said in the question. No one would ask me. *she walked out*
Lena: Demi!
Joe: I'll go talk to her.
Lena: Kay.
Joe: *he runs after Demi and finds her out on the front steps, crying* Demi?
Demi: *wipes the tears, sits up, clears her throat and tries to sound happy* Yeah?
Joe: Don't try. I saw you crying.
Demi: *she slumps and starts crying again*
Joe: *sits down next to her and rubs her back* What's wrong?
Demi: *feels tingles from where he rubbed* Uh...nothing...
Joe: Obviously not. If it was nothing, then you wouldn't be crying.
Demi: *sighs sadly*
Joe: Come on. Tell me.
Demi: I'm...I'm the school joke...
Joe: What do you mean?
Demi: Everyone laughs at me. No one talks to me but Lena unless they are making fun of me.
Joe: WHAT?!
Demi: *looks at him sadly* And it seems like I can't even fight my own battles. Lena always does. And then I'm made fun of more. I dragged Lena down with me. We are both made fun of. We sit alone at lunch. We have our parents make sure that we are always in the same class. We have our parents send in notes to make sure that we do everything together. If she is sick and has to stay home, I do too. Same with me. But, I know I am getting tired of it. I hate being made fun of.
Joe: Why would they make fun of you?! *his voice cracks a bit*
Demi: Well, I used to have a gap. I got it fixed about 2 weeks ago for Camp Rock. And my chin. Which I can't fix. OH! And my weight.
Joe: *looks at her*
Demi: You think I'm ugly too, huh.
Joe: *looks into her eyes* No. Honestly, you are the most beautiful person I have seen in my life. You look so insanely perfect in my eyes. I didn't even notice any of that before this, honestly.
Demi: Right.
Joe: I didn't!!
Demi: *rolls her eyes, but then looks at his face* You're serious, aren't you.
Joe: Dead.
Demi: *leans into him and puts her knees to her chest.*
Joe: *He hugs her and links his hands behind her back*
Demi: *looks up at him*
Joe: *looks down*
They both lean in, and then BAM! Nick interupts them. (stupid boy...)
Nick: Hey Demi, are yo- Uh...am I interupting something?
Joe: *glares at him* Nope.
Demi: *glares at him, too and says through gritted teeth* Not at all.
Nick: Okey dokey. I just wanted to see if you were okay Demi. And apparently, Lena is doing so well, they are releasing her tonight!
Demi: *looks at Joe excitedly* Really?! LET'S GO!
Joe: *looks back at Demi happily* Yeah!
They grab each other's hand and they run to Lena's room.
Nick: HEY! GUYS!? Ugh... *runs after them*
A few hours later, Lena and Demi hop into the Jonas car.
Demi: *happy, but then her smile drops* Ugh...
Joe: *notices* Uh...are you bipolar? Cuz about 10 seconds ago you were happy. Now you are pissed off.
Demi: My parents.
Joe: Ah.
Lena: What about 'em?
Demi: They are getting remarried.
Lena: *her smile drops and she leans over Joe and hugs Demi* I'm sorry Dem.
Demi: Yeah...me too... I just don't wanna go home. Cuz then they are gonna want me to recap what happened and I don't want to tonight...
Lena: Why don't you stay at my house?
Demi: *looks at her like she is an idiot* Your parents are on vacation, ya doughnut.
Lena: Oh, right...WAIT!! But that means that I have no where to stay either!!
Nick: How 'bout our house?
Joe: Yeah. We have a guest bedroom.
Lena and Demi: *they look at eachother and shrug* Sure, why not.
Nick: Hey Dad? Can Selena and Demi stay over tonight?
What will the Jonas father say? If he says yes, what abouth the Lovato parents? Find out in about a half-hour...
